Torsion spring is a spring that bears axial tension and is mostly in the form of a circular cross-section. Both ends consist of a spiral arm that bears the load and acts as a fulcrum or force point. Torsion spring rotates to withstand torque and is often used in various fixtures within household appliances, such as shafts, knobs, door locks, hairpins, etc.
